Hi, I am currently researching whether students provided with a laptop computer will experience a shift in attitude and behaviour regarding technology. To put this in context, I am examining a relatively technology rich environment in which students regularly participate in collaborative, creative learning situations incorporating technology. In most cases, however, students in this environment remain passive consumers of content in their personal lives.
The school where I am researching is implementing a 1:1 program. One rationale for this is that students will be able to integrate their learning and personal lives, increasing the likelihood of application of technology to CREATE (rather than to just view/communicate etc.)

If you know of any previously conducted research in this area, I would be grateful for a shove in the right direction.
